4749 Hay wagon pulls in front of traffic

The wagon loaded with fresh, loose hay pulls into traffic in front of the car and motorcycle and sends the chickens running for their lives. The cow just watches. So the picture was made when vehicles had replaced horse power, but the hay wagon still has wood spoke wheels, so it was while ago. The collection of loose hay is, I think, probably common in the high Swiss Alps where the slopes are so steep mechanical balers probably can’t operate. It sure is nice, green hay though,

Information typed on the back of one card indicates it was from 1952 or 1953.
